INITIAL IMPRESSIONS

The initial impression of the JBL 125 is the lovely slimline case. The case is very similar to others that we have reviewed with JBL with the nice slimline case feel.  It is also small enough to fit in the hand and weighing only 73 grams in total is light enough to carry around without any problems. 

The 125 headphones controls are also insdie the case hwich means you can find them if you miss a certain command. They are also magnetic which means they keep in place when being stored.

JBL 125TWS Earbuds

The earbuds look really stylish and with their design they fit perfectly in my ears. I couldn't feel them move around and were very comfortable for working out including the gym, cycling and running. They also fit very snug which means a lot of the outside noise was blocked. They also fit quite well on the head and didn't portrude out much.

Whilst the earbuds are well built and feel sturdy they didn't have any IP rating for dust or water resistance which could have been a big plus.

They also have a really nice design with a premium sturdy feel to them. They also come in three colour options Blue, White and Black.

Battery Life

One of the standouts with the JBL 125 Earbuds is the battery life. With around 8 hours in the earbuds and 3 times more in the case it gives around 32 hours total. This is very good for earbuds and will give you a good amount of time when out and about.

Features

The JBL 125TWS feature JBLs Signature Pure Bass sound, they also hvae Bluetooth Version 5.0 and an inbuilt microphohne and USB C Port. 

I really like how they have fast pair which allows the earbuds to be used when taken out of the case straight away. The earbuds also have a number of different eartips which means it helps them fit very easily into the ears.

They also have a great 8 hours of battery life in the earbuds and 24 hours from the charging case. Although the one slight drawback of these is that they don't have the designated app like there is for the JBL Live 300 

Sound Quality

The JBL Live 125TWS have brilliant sound and really provide a fantastic audio experience. WIth the 5.8mm drivers the music is rich with bass but isn't overpowering. As with all JBL products the sound is excellent. I used these earbuds with a mixture of pop, rock, classical and dance and found across all genres the sound was right on point.

JBL have managed to mix the sound correctly so the 125 Earbuds have the perfect mix of sound quality. Even when turned up high there was no distortion in the music.

 Final Thoughts

With a great trendy and stylish design, a good battery life, excellent sound and being lightweight these earbuds really do justify the investment. Whilst they do not offer noise cancellation, a higher IP rating or customisable controls. You can save money in not having these features with the JBL 125TWS which still provides an excellent audio experience.

They really are a good set of earbuds and I recommend them highly!
