The review of the Curren watch we will be looking at here today is the Curren CR8291.
Packaging
The watches come initially in a fairly nondescript box as seen below. That being said the boxes are strong and not damaged at all. It was also in a protective pouch, which prevented any damage occurring during transport and was easy to set-up based on received instructions.
Initial Impressions
This is a good size timepiece with a case diameter of 47mm and a case thickness of 14mm. The band material is leather and is 24mm thick. It is quite a large watch as well so probably not suitable for very suitable wrists. It weighs in at 97grams.
This watch utilizes a quartz movement originating from Japan. The working crown, when fully extended, allows adjustment of the time. The halfway position is used to set the day of the month.
The watch is also battery operated and has Calendar, date and stop watch function.

This Curren stainless steel men's analog quartz watch is the perfect watch for everyday wear and is especially great for more formal activities.
The watch combines both class and functionality into one timepiece. The watch face itself is rather large although the the size does seem perfect for the average male wrist.
Additionally, the watch front is the best asset of the timepiece; it's large enough to read, stainless steel trim, and even has a stopwatch function. This watch is should be your go to watch for any formal occasion.
The dial’s design is quite impressive. I especially appreciate the decorative subdials that appear so real I almost expect their pointers to turn. Curren’s coordination of color throughout the dial, bezel, and strap works extremely well.
Accuracy
This watch utilizes a quartz movement, and therefore, is very accurate.
Also the calendar, stop watch and timekeeping all perform to standards.
Curren - Where is it manufactured?
Similar to a lot of watches in the market, the Curren men's' watch is manufactured in China. There appears to be severla factories that manufacture this watch.
As in previous reviews despite being made in China a great majority of what we buy is now produced in China so I don't see this as being an issue.
Overall Impression
This Curren men's stainless steel analog quartz watch is the perfect watch for everyday wear- especially for more formal activities.

The watch face itself is rather large; however, the size seems perfect for the average male wrist. Additionally, the watch front is the best asset of the timepiece; it's large enough to read, stainless steel trim, and even has a stopwatch function. This watch is now my go-to watch for any formal occasion when I'm looking to accessorize. Overall a great watch for a really great price!
