Best Air Purifier? Winix Air Purifier Review Zero 4 Stage

Welcome back to Mr.YouWho, now with most of us having to spend a lot more time at home, air quality has become a critical issue for most people. Today we are really excited to be unboxing and reviewing the Winix Air Purifier Zero 4 stage. This is a follow up to the first review we did of the Winix Zero+ Pro 5 Stage in which we tested over a number of days and found a dramatic difference in air quality. It was also very quiet and very easy to run in the background.  We would see this as being one of the best air purifiers on the market. We will actually unbox and have a look at the Winix air purifier, we will then test how they work, how effective they are and if we feel they actually improve the air quality. We will also determine if we think the Winix Zero 4 is one of the best air purifiers on the market. You can view our Youtube review here:   Now many of us don’t know that indoor air quality can often be up to 10 times worse then the air outside just in Australia alone 1 in 9 aussies have a breathing issue and 3 million have allergies.  This is particularly an issue if you are now spending a lot of time working indoors. As in previous reviews we have also discussed how my partner suffers from asthma. Now having asthma and living indoors with carpet is not a good idea so we need a great quality air purifier that can really help. There are lots of things that can cause bad air, from chemicals in products and sprays, through to bacteria, dust and viruses in the air. Now whilst this particular air purifier is designed for Australia you will there are similar models like this across the world. Winix Zero 4 Stage Purifier buy on Amazon: Now this purifer is a little bit different to the stage 5 in the previous review, firstly it is slightly smaller and can filter a room to about 38.2m2, it also doesn't have the pet filter that the 5 has.  Looking at the Air Purifier it looks really nice, I could easily have it displayed around my home. When I pick it up it is quite light but still feels like a high quality product. Now first thing I love about this Air Purifer is the fact that it has 4 levels of purification, which helps get rid of air borne nasties. This  a fine mesh pre-filter, deodorization activated carbon filter, hospital grade true HEPA filter and plasmawave. The Helpa filter does most of the work, pulls allergens down to 0.3 microns. It also contains a granulated carbon which also traps most of the chemicals in the air. One thing about the Winix Air Purifiers is they also have their own Plasmawave technology which means it can neutralise many of the bacteria, odours, VOCs & viruses that are in the air.Testing it myself with deoderant sprays, smoke and even mist I found that the machine responded very quickly. The auto mode function was very handy and was able to respond to changes in the air by increasing speed. The actual machine itself has 4 fan speeds and sleep mode which enables you to vary it depending on what you want.  It is also very energy efficient, it pulls about 1/15th less power than light bulbs will. What kind of things can the air purifier help with? Chemicals we spray or what we burn can filter these out Cooking smells in the air Removes smoke Removes dust, dust mite allergens and mould spores Removes pollens, particles and odours. Reduces viruses and bacteria Why should we buy this Air Purifier? Now I tested this air purifier for a number of days and I found a dramatic difference in air quality. It was also very quiet and very easy to run in the background. I have also read some other reviews online and people are very happy with it. The filters only need to be changed once a year as well and with the 2 year warranty it really can't be beat.We would see this as being one of the best air purifiers on the market.
